Autumn term 2023
The autumn term starts 21.8.2023 and classes finish 5.12. (Tuesday classes) and 13.12. (Wednesday classes).
NOTICE! Weekly classes are held during the school’s autumn holiday as well.
The autumn and spring terms both have 16 weeks of teaching, and they have been divided into four periods.
We reserve the right to possible class changes.
No weekly classes on the following times:
- Independence Day 6.12.
- On the times of inSpiral Dance Company Finland's workshops

- Vilma The class is suitable for dancers who have good familiarity with basic movements and basic technique and know several Beginner dances in soft shoes and preferably at least one dance in hard shoes – typically after dancing for at least 2 years. |

Registration for the weekly classes
You can register for weekly classes in Helsinki for the whole year 2023-2024 or for a 4-week period at a time.
- Please note that the classes advance throughout the school year, so if you are joining later in the year, it's recommended to get in touch with the us before registering.
- Remember that registration for the whole year is binding for the entire term and indicates acceptance of the dance school's rules. If you like to cancel your registration for spring classes it should be made according to the rules (minimum 2 weeks before the the start of the term).
- The right to change and cancel classes depends on the payment method you choose. See the rules of our dance school for more info.
- For cancellations made late, the dance school has the right to charge the tuition fee in full.
Please note that the dance school does not provide insurance for dancers and therefore,
everyone is responsible for their own insurance in case of injuries.

In course-based teaching, prices are determined separately. Payments can be made either as a term fee or in a period fee.

TUESDAY
Tuesday’s classes are held at Helsingin Tanssikeskus. Entrance is from the back of the building, you can get the door code from your teacher.

Absence from classes in Helsinki
Missed classes can be made up for by attending any of our weekly classes at your own or lower level, as long as you are registered in at least one class.
- Missed autumn classes can be made up until end of the spring term. Missed spring or summer classes can be made up until the end of the next autumn term.
- Please note that you can’t make up absences during the summer classes or on separate courses (f.ex. Feis prep or TCRG workshops).
- If you fall seriously ill or have to be absent from classes for a long time, please contact us and we’ll work out a more flexible arrangement for making up for the missed classes.
